Farm Hike

Friday, March 29th

Today we went on a bit of a hike through the cow pasture. There were lots of cow pies along, well, everywhere! 💩

It was nice to get outside and walk about. I can only imagine how pretty it gets as the trees bloom!

A waterfall! Take my picture by the waterfall!
Gotta love those giant waterfalls. :-)

We stayed out there for quite a while until hunger pushed us back. At home, we enjoyed a new-to-us type of oranges. We were just in Orange country down in Florida and even toured an Orange farm, but I'd still never heard of "Lumpy Bumpy's" before. I was about to buy a bag of cuties when the grocer asked me if I had tried these before. I said no and he sold me on a bag. They're true to their name, lumpy and bumpy and by most accounts quite ugly. But they're easier than cuties to peel and have a taste sweeter more like a Navel. We're hooked!

Lumpy Bumpy, our new favorite type of orange!
