Today was, how you say, not so fun of a day.
Oh it wasn't terrible, just the normal challenges of life that sometimes get to you.
I'm not interested in making this a complainey blog, but I don't intend to paint a picture of perfection either. How about something a little more real, like -- this is us! And sometimes, we have a bad day.
School cut short as children decided listening was not nearly important as interrupting, and that both getting along and having school at the same time was multi-tasking beyond their capabilities.
In the meantime, we worked on hammering down some of our plans for our time in Texas. Our church congregation here has a facebook group and, with their help, we've created a vast list of interesting ideas! Narrowing them down and creating a plan is no small task!
So not many pictures today. Kids played around a bit and then asked if they could do some of their school work. ...um, okay.
And so we roll on!
At least Amy and Noel went to Activity Days tonight at the church--an hour-ish activity for 8-11yr old girls once or twice per month.
